• Prince William has an unofficial plan to save the monarchy called "The Fix"
  • The royal is "not waiting for the throne."
  • Sources say that King Charles has "all but handed over the crown."

Multiple sources are saying that Prince William is out here acting like king in "all-but-name," and apparently he has a very specific vision for the monarchy. And said vision involves an unofficial plan to save it called "The Fix."

Rob Shuter's #ShuterScoop reports that staff are "whispering" about The Fix "behind palace gates," calling it "William’s unofficial campaign to modernize the monarchy, sharpen its purpose, and clean up the mess left by Prince Andrew’s disgrace."

A senior courtier says, "He wants the Crown to mean something again. He’s not content with ribbon-cutting," while a stratagist adds "He’s not waiting for the throne. He’s trying it on for size."

Oh, and apparently "William believes if he doesn’t save [the monarchy], no one will."

This comes as royal expert Maureen Callahan tells Daily Mail that William has been "making power moves" and is "already leading the Royal Family, intent on preserving the realm." She adds that "Charles, it seems, has all but handed over the crown. He would prefer, as is his constitution, not to be embroiled in these messes, even as they pose existential threats to the future of the monarchy. William clearly has no such squeamishness. It's the House of Wales now, and not a moment too soon."

The drama!
